According to monitoring channels, the target of the attack was the “Wildberries” logistics complex covering an area of about 90 thousand square meters. After the strike, employees were evacuated from the sorting center.
This logistics center is one of the most important “Wildberries” distribution centers serving the Volga Federal District.
Later, the information about the incident was confirmed by the governor of the Penza region, O. Melnichenko.

“There is an open flame burning in the warehouse area, firefighters are fighting the fire,” he said.
In addition, according to ASTRA, air raid sirens were activated in Penza after the attack.
The “Wildberries” press service reported that due to the attack on the warehouse in the Penza region, goods reception and order dispatch were temporarily redirected to other company facilities.
