The Telegram channels “Mash” and “112” indicated that the victim is Andrey Cherezov, head of the company “Russian Air Transport Laboratory,” which is engaged in drone development.
“Late Tuesday evening, Andrey Cherezov returned home from work but did not even manage to enter the apartment. The killer was waiting for him in the yard. Three shots were fired. Andrey’s wife, hearing the noise, opened the door and saw her husband covered in blood. The shooter had already managed to escape,” the “Mash” authors reported.
As noted by the “112” channel, according to one version, the attempt may be related to A. Cherezov’s professional activity. Law enforcement agencies are searching for the criminal.
The company “Russian Air Transport Laboratory” was registered in 2022 for scientific research and development in the field of natural and technical sciences, the “Mash” authors noted. However, recently it won contracts for the supply of unmanned aviation systems to Voronezh State Technical University for scientific research. The company won two tenders, and the total contract amount was 29.7 million rubles.
