Greek portal “Betarades” journalist Sotiris Vetakis reports that S. Francisco is inclined to consider this option, as there are still many question marks regarding ASVEL’s future.
The club is facing financial problems and has not yet found a new investor.

According to the journalist, ASVEL failed to transfer 400 thousand euros of the buyout to “Žalgiris,” and this ultimately had to be done by S. Francisco’s representatives.
It seems that ASVEL is also not ready to fulfill the conditions set out in the preliminary agreement with the player.
Initially, it was said that the Villeurbanne club was ready to pay as much as 5 million euros per season.
