“We will find out if this is true. I will ask Putin about it,” said the US president.
He added that it did not matter much because, according to him, the US military had already completely shut down the mentioned facilities.
“You know, they gave Venezuela a lot of equipment. Venezuela had a lot of Russian equipment. And how did that end? Not very well,” added D. Trump.
Zelensky revealed details of Russia and Iran cooperation
On July 25, V. Zelensky stated that Russia regularly transfers satellite images of US military facilities and Persian Gulf countries to Iran. He also indicated that Ukraine will share this intelligence information with international partners.
“On July 19–20 alone, Russian satellites observed four air bases – two in Bahrain, one in Jordan, and one in Kuwait,” said V. Zelensky.
Earlier, Iran stated that it did not ask the United States to resume negotiations and continues to control the Strait of Hormuz. Such statements appeared after D. Trump halted a two-week planned airstrike campaign against Iran.
It was also previously reported that the United States postponed a planned large-scale military operation against Iran. The main reason cited was the depleted reserve stock of “Patriot” air defense missiles.
