Former Ukrainian President Viktor Yanukovych, who has been living in Russia since 2014, may be residing in Sochi with his partner Lyubov Sadykova (Polezhay). This is reported in a “Telebachennya Toronto” investigation.

Journalists claim that photos from L. Sadykova’s social media accounts match images from the “Blagodat” complex in Sochi, which was previously associated with V. Yanukovych. The estate covers about 3 hectares and includes residential buildings, a garden, greenhouses, a chapel, and a pond.
Next to L. Sadykova’s estate, large plots of land are registered in her name, including 337 hectares of agricultural land and an abandoned sanatorium. From 2015 to 2025, she officially worked as a manager at the Tkachev agricultural complex, earning a salary of about 50 thousand rubles per month. The authors of the investigation believe that this job might have been fictitious.
After acquiring the land, L. Sadykova leased it to the same agricultural complex. Over four years, rental income amounted to more than 50 million rubles, and she received another approximately 14 million rubles from selling real estate.
In total, according to the investigation, L. Sadykova owns more than 370 hectares of land and over 2,400 sq. m of real estate: five apartments, five houses, and four premises, including two apartments in Moscow.
In 2024, she registered the company “Shchedrodar” in Sochi, which incurred losses of about 2 million rubles by the end of 2025.

Mother’s maiden name
Furthermore, the authors of the investigation claim that V. Yanukovych may be traveling around Russia under the name Oleg Leonov. The only coincidence they point out is the birth date, July 9, 1950, which matches the former president’s birth date. Moreover, Leonova is V. Yanukovych’s mother’s maiden name.
According to the investigation, the former president’s eldest son, Oleksandr Yanukovych, lives in Russia with his family, using the surname Sokolov. In 2022–2023, he flew between Moscow and Sochi with the leadership of the FSB’s 5th Service, as well as with former Ukrainian Prosecutor General Viktor Pshonka and his spouse, who reportedly used the names Viktor and Olga Fedorov.
Oleksandr’s wife, Elena, acquired more than 27 thousand sq. m of real estate during her years in Russia, including properties in the luxurious “Benilux” settlement near Moscow. Meanwhile, officially since 2009, she has been registered as a housewife. According to the investigation, her deposit accounts held about 3.5 million US dollars in 2024.
It is also reported that Elena Yanukovych and her two sons hold UAE citizenship, and Viktor Yanukovych’s grandson’s accounts held almost 5 million US dollars in 2024.
