Only gasoline got cheaper: what are the prices of diesel and gas?

In Lithuania, on Monday morning, compared to Friday, the average prices of diesel and LPG increased by 0.15% and 0.4% respectively, while the price of petrol decreased by 0.34%. Information on fuel prices was provided to the Lithuanian Energy Agency (LEA) on July 27 by 76 fuel trading companies operating 763 filling stations.

In Lithuania, companies selling fuel provide information to LEA about fuel prices at their filling stations every working day by 10 AM. The submitted prices are published on the website ena.lt. Prices at filling stations are changed multiple times a day.

On July 27, by 10 AM, fuel price data received from filling stations showed that the lowest diesel price was at the filling station operated by Raimondas Balsys’ individual enterprise in Kelmė district municipality (Ramučiai village) – 1.820 Eur/l.

The highest diesel price was at two filling stations operated by UAB “GM Manufacturing Lithuania” – 2.127 Eur/l.

On Monday morning, diesel prices at filling stations ranged from 1.820 Eur/l to 2.127 Eur/l, and the average diesel price reached 1.982 Eur/l, or 0.15% more than on Friday (July 24), when it was 1.979 Eur/l.

The lowest petrol price on Monday morning was at two “Emsi” network filling stations in Lazdijai district municipality (Janaslavo village) and Vilkaviškis – 1.659 Eur/l.

The highest petrol price was at the “Žibalas” filling station in Jonava – 1.920 Eur/l.

On Monday morning, petrol prices at filling stations ranged from 1.659 Eur/l to 1.920 Eur/l, and the average petrol price was 1.773 Eur/l, or 0.34% less than on Friday (July 24), when it was 1.779 Eur/l.

The lowest LPG price on Monday morning was at 4 “Madalva” filling stations, “Jozita” filling station in Pakruojis district municipality (Kuosiškiai village) and “Bonsa” filling station in Tauragė district municipality (Taurai) – 0.660 Eur/l.

The highest LPG price was at 2 “Circle K” network filling stations (Raseiniai district municipality and Šilalė district municipality) – 0.909 Eur/l.

On Monday morning, LPG prices at filling stations ranged from 0.660 Eur/l to 0.909 Eur/l, and the average LPG price reached 0.762 Eur/l, or 0.4% more than on Friday (July 24), when it was 0.759 Eur/l.

The wholesale price of petrol in Lithuania on July 24 was 1.67 Eur/l, the wholesale price of diesel was 1.95 Eur/l (on July 23, the wholesale price of petrol was 1.64 Eur/l, the wholesale price of diesel was 1.90 Eur/l).

The price of Brent crude oil on the market on July 24 was 96.78 USD/bbl (July 23 – 100.69 USD/bbl).
