A distributed report states that a London police boat “collided with Westminster Bridge while responding to a report of a person in the water”.

During the incident, which occurred around 3:40 PM local time (5:40 PM Lithuanian time) near the UK Parliament building, three officers fell into the water. They had to be rescued by nearby boats.
In total, five officers were injured and, after receiving first aid, were taken to the hospital. One of them has already been discharged.
Footage broadcast by UK television news channels showed that the usually busy Westminster Bridge was cordoned off, with no people or vehicles on it, and ambulances standing nearby.
“The injuries of the four officers remaining in the hospital are serious but not life-threatening,” said London police officer Nick John.

He thanked the rescuers who rushed to help and the crews of nearby boats.
“The quick thinking and professionalism of everyone involved undoubtedly helped prevent more serious injuries,” said N. John, adding that members of the public were not harmed.
The London Police Marine Unit is responsible for patrolling a 75-kilometer stretch of the River Thames.
