During it, a Lexus car knocked over an artwork placed at the intersection of streets.
The driver was found to have a moderate degree of intoxication – 1.84 per mille.
According to police data, no people were injured during the accident.
Work of a famous sculptor
Romualdas Kvintas’ sculpture “Water Carrier” was unveiled in 2020, it is one of the last works of the famous sculptor.
The sculpture was inspired by the work of the Jewish poet Moše Kulbak, who lived in Vilnius.
It symbolizes a Jewish water carrier, who was believed to be often seen in Vilnius Old Town.
