Everyone ordered to take cover
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko urged residents to find shelters and hide: “Explosions are heard in the city. Air defense forces are operating in the capital. Take cover in shelters.”
According to analysts, Russians launched at least 10 ballistic missiles, including “Zircon”, from Russia’s Kursk region towards Kyiv. These are Russian hypersonic cruise missiles capable of carrying a nuclear warhead.
Ten minutes later, repeated explosions were heard in the Ukrainian capital, according to correspondents of the broadcaster “Suspilne”.

This is not the first time on Friday that air raid sirens have sounded in Kyiv. Around 9:25 AM, the Ukrainian Air Force warned of a jet drone threat.
Last night, Russian forces also launched 5 guided missiles “Kh-59” and “Kh-69” and 180 attack drones at Ukraine. Air defense forces reported neutralizing 4 missiles and 160 drones in the north, south, and east of the country.
