On Friday, the Vilnius City District Court granted VAATC’s request for interim measures – until the final court decision is made (but no longer than until the end of this year), “Energesman” is prohibited from obstructing VAATC from carrying out waste management activities in the territory of the Vilnius Mechanical Biological Treatment (MBT) facilities.

“The court decided that the special circumstances of the extreme situation that arose and the actions of the defendant (“Energesman” – BNS) lead to the conclusion that there is a basis to apply interim measures and to temporarily regulate the situation in the territory of the Vilnius mechanical biological treatment facilities until the decision is made,” – Giedrius Janonis, a court representative, told BNS.
