According to the Fire Protection and Rescue Department, a report about a fire in Ginteniai village, Dauginiukų street, was received on July 23 at about 11:50 AM.

Upon the firefighters’ arrival, the one-story wooden residential house with an attic was burning with open flames. The building’s roof was covered with slate.
Before the firefighters arrived, two people managed to exit the burning house. Both suffered burns and were taken to a medical facility.

During the fire, the house’s roof burned down, and one living room of approximately 35 square meters was completely gutted.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
