Tests in Spain – experience needed for the future
During the approximately 60-kilometer tests, different car settings were tried and valuable data was collected.
According to Rokas, the new “Toyota Hilux T1+” differs from the previous generation model – due to a lower center of gravity, the car is more stable and significantly more agile in corners, and a more efficient braking system allows for later braking and maintaining a higher driving pace.
Next, Rokas will prepare for the remaining rounds of the FIA World Rally-Raid Championship (W2RC), where he competes with the “DEFENDER” team in the “Stock” category. After three rounds of the championship, the Lithuanian leads the overall “Stock” class standings.

Having successfully completed the season, Rokas would have the opportunity to write his name into the history of rally-raids – he could become the first and so far only driver in the world to win the FIA World Rally-Raid Championship title in three different car categories.
To date, R. Baciuška has won world championship titles in the SSV (T4) and “Challenger” (T3) classes, and this year he aims to add a third – in the Stock (T2) category.
