According to experts, black “racer” snakes are not venomous and are harmless to humans if left undisturbed, writes bbc.com.
In a video posted by Kennedy on Tuesday, he is seen wearing a shirt, pants, and only socks, approaching the crawling snakes and crouching to pick them up.
Kennedy lifts the snakes in front of the camera and smiles, although it is visible that they are biting his hands.
Florida wildlife specialists recently warned people to keep away from snakes as they become more active in spring.
“Keep a safe distance from snakes and admire them from afar,” the agency wrote in a Facebook post.

This is the latest episode in RFK Jr.’s fairly close encounters with the animal world.
