Central Bank: more and more Polish companies use artificial intelligence

In its report on the business sector, the National Bank of Poland stated that in 2025, 29 percent of companies expanded their use of AI. These changes are primarily driven by the services sector, where 46 percent of companies have already implemented new tools. Meanwhile, the construction and retail sectors lag behind: in both these sectors, this indicator reaches 38 percent.

The extent of AI use also depends on the size of the company. 59 percent of large companies use AI, compared to 43 percent of medium-sized companies and 28 percent of very small companies.

According to the central bank, the implementation of AI solutions has not led to a significant reduction in employment: only 1 percent of companies state that increased use of AI has allowed them to reduce the number of employees.

A significant portion of companies – 35 percent – have not yet begun to analyze the opportunities offered by AI.

The central bank notes that a fairly large group of companies – 19 percent – see no opportunities to effectively use AI in their business.
