From July 13 to 19, the average price in the Lithuanian price zone of the Nord Pool exchange increased by 17% to 100 euros per megawatt-hour (MWh). In Latvia, it was 96 euros, and in Estonia – 51 euro.

Deividas Šikšnys, Head of Market Development at Litgrid, says that solar power plants produced as much as 50% of the country’s total electricity, but the average weekly price increased, mainly due to a 48% decrease in wind power production.
