According to his data, residents of Dzhankoy will be able to use mobile communication and internet services for only 8 hours a day – for the remaining time, i.e. two-thirds of the day, users will be completely disconnected from the network.

Center analysts emphasized that the main reason for such actions is military. According to them, this is how the Russian leadership tries to complicate the transmission of data about the movement of their equipment and personnel.
It is noted that there is another goal – to strictly control the information space of the peninsula and cut off local residents from news undesirable to the Kremlin.
“Civilians become hostages of the Kremlin’s military interests because the Kremlin is forcing Crimea to become a closed militarized zone,” the Anti-Disinformation Center statement says.

Earlier, large-scale power outages in Crimea were reported. It is stated that electricity disappeared practically throughout the peninsula. Power supply disruptions have been ongoing for some time, and the occupying authorities stopped publishing data about which settlements remain without electricity after strikes on energy infrastructure.
Ukraine’s strikes also affected fuel supply to the occupied peninsula. The Russian-controlled Crimean administration announced that fuel will temporarily be sold only to state institutions. On social networks, peninsula residents massively complain about the consequences of such restrictions.
Ukraine’s drone forces reported that over two weeks, together with agents of the Ukrainian security service, they managed to paralyze 75% of the Kerch ferry crossings, which are used to transport fuel to the peninsula and military equipment between Crimea and the occupied territories.
