On J.K. Chodkevičius Street, right in the center of Kretinga, stands a building resembling an apartment block. However, it does not contain apartments, but various institutions had their premises there.
The quite worn-out building ended up at auction.
Earlier, about 160 square meters of space in this building was sold.
Now three more property units with many offices were being sold. Their total area was 2279.69 square meters.
The total starting price of these three property units, set by property appraisers, was 664 thousand euros. This amount was also offered by an auction participant. The auction was declared successful on Friday.

The total area of the sold premises accounts for almost 72% of the entire building, while the remaining 28% consists of premises already acquired earlier by companies, organizations, or private individuals.
The four-story building was constructed in 1967. It used to be a hotel, a dormitory. Later, various state institutions operated here.
