Israeli Prime Minister ordered the army to occupy 70% of the Gaza Strip

This is done despite the fragile ceasefire conditions that came into effect in October.

“We are currently pressuring Hamas. We now control 60 percent of the strip’s territory. You know, we were at 50, moved to 60. My order is to move to (…) 70 percent,” he said at a conference in an occupied West Bank settlement, according to a video broadcast by Israel’s Channel 12 network.
