“Juventus” squad strengthened by defender who played in Germany

The contract signed with the basketball player will be valid until the end of the 2026–2027 season.

J. Pagenkopfas was one of the best assist providers in the German championship – with an average of 6.5 assists per game, he became the leader in assists in the strongest German basketball league, sharing this title with Alonzo Verge from Vechta “Rasta”.

“He is a classic point guard with considerable experience in European basketball, who primarily creates for the team and only then looks for his own scoring opportunities. Considering the players we have already invited to the team and those we plan to invite, we really needed a player like this. Moreover, Jack can work well on defense, press opposing point guards, and apply pressure to the ball handler, which will allow us to be even more aggressive on both ends of the court.

During his professional career, J. Pagenkopfas has also represented Botevgrad “Balkan” (Bulgaria), Nuremberg “Falcons” (Germany), Zwolle “Landstede Hammers” (Netherlands), Rahovec “KB Rahoveci” (Kosovo), Manisa “Manisa Basket” (Turkey), Alsto “Okapi” (Belgium), and Ehingen “Urspring” (Germany) clubs.

In the 2021–2022 season, J. Pagenkopfas played for Alsto “Okapi” together with the current “Juventus” guard Paulius Valinskas.

For the upcoming season, contracts with Utena “Juventus” are also held by Šarūnas Beniušis, Titas Didžgalvis, Justas Furmanavičius, Brandon Huntley-Hatfield, Paulius Valinskas, Kenny Pohto, Chase Hunter, and Gintautas Matulis.
