Gerda Žemaitė said that recently she hardly ever watches the “1006 km race” live every year. Now she returned to it after a break, not alone, but with her son Nikolas and her boyfriend Marius.

“Earlier, when there was ‘Racing Ladies’, I always participated, it was very interesting. Now there was a break of a few years, I was less interested. But my boyfriend has his own teams, he knows who he supports, so I adapt. For ‘Lamborghini’? Ok, then for ‘Lamborghini’,” G. Žemaitė smiled.

Gerda herself has been driving for a long time – since she was 18 years old.
“But right now I’m thinking that I should change the car, because I drive a ‘Honda’. I would consider changing to a ‘BMW’ or ‘Tesla’, I don’t know yet,” G. Žemaitė added.
When asked why she is thinking about such changes, Gerda explained: “I really like both the appearance and the driving, and a heavy car – it drives completely differently. I already want comfort.”
When asked if she would like to return to the racing track – since she has previously participated in a women’s rally – G. Žemaitė did not hide such a possibility.
“For me, everything is generally cool – Marius is a big speed lover. I never used to drive all kinds of vehicles before, but now we drive both ATVs and a razor. So we race around. Somehow I myself started to like speed,” she said.
