“Punish the aggressor”
The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) of Iran stated that after the US strikes during the night, it struck US radar systems and military aircraft in Qatar, aiming to “punish the aggressor and the child-killing US military.”

Earlier, the Guard announced that it also struck US military aircraft deployed in Jordan.
Syria denies bombing
A military source in Syria denied to AFP news agency that Iran bombed the At Tanf base near Syria’s southeastern borders with Jordan and Iraq, although Tehran’s Revolutionary Guard claimed it struck this facility in response to US strikes.
“We deny any Iranian bombing directed at the At Tanf area,” said the source, speaking on condition of anonymity.
US forces said they withdrew from this base earlier this year after troops belonging to the US-led coalition against jihadists were deployed there.
Iran urges not to use air conditioners
Iran’s Ministry of Energy urged citizens to reduce electricity consumption after the power grid in the south of the country experienced a heavy load following US strikes on energy infrastructure.
The ministry in its statement urged people to turn off air conditioners during peak hours and “help ensure stable electricity supply in the southern provinces, which are currently facing extreme heat and attacks on power supply facilities.”
Kuwait, which reported the Iranian attack that damaged a power plant and a water desalination plant, also urged people to limit electricity consumption.
Iran targets Persian Gulf states
Besides Kuwait, Bahrain and Qatar also reported missile interceptions. An AFP journalist in Bahrain’s capital Manama reported hearing several explosions at night after warning sirens sounded.
In Qatar, the Ministry of Defense reported that the military repelled a missile attack, and AFP journalists in the capital Doha heard several explosions. The Ministry of Interior reported that one child was injured by falling debris.
The commander of the Aerospace Forces of Iran’s Revolutionary Guard promised on Friday that Tehran will not stop its attacks in the region until the US stops strikes on Iran’s southern coast and the Strait of Hormuz.
Tanker struck
The United Kingdom Maritime Trade Operations (UKMTO) reported that on the night when Iran and the United States exchanged fire again over control of the Strait of Hormuz, an “unknown projectile” hit a tanker off the coast of Oman.

The agency stated that the tanker suffered “minor structural damage” from the strike, but the entire crew is safe.
Iran reports 38 dead
Iran’s Ministry of Health reported that since June 22, 38 people have died from US strikes, and more than 400 have been injured.
In the latest night strikes, eight people were killed and another 20 injured, reported the IRNA news agency.
Nine Iranian Kurdish rebels killed
During strikes in the Iraqi Kurdistan region, nine members of an Iranian Kurdish armed opposition group were killed, reported the exiled party, blaming Iran for the attack.
Meanwhile, the Iraqi Kurdistan presidency condemned the attacks on the autonomous region on Friday, calling them “a clear violation of Iraq’s sovereignty.”
China and Pakistan call to end hostilities
After a meeting in Shanghai, the foreign ministers of China and Pakistan urged the United States and Iran to end hostilities and return to the negotiating table.
“Destroyed” US radar stations
Iran’s Revolutionary Guard stated that it “directed fire and destroyed” two US-owned radar stations in Oman – one for maritime surveillance and the other for air surveillance.
US forces disembarked from a ship
The US military reported that American forces disembarked from a ship in the Gulf of Oman, carrying out Washington’s renewed blockade of Iranian ports.
The US Central Command also reported “intercepting” three ships attempting to bypass the blockade, which was reinstated as hostilities resumed.
Iran claims infrastructure was targeted
Iranian state television reported two explosions in the city of Bushehr, home to Iran’s only civilian nuclear power plant.
Iranian state media also reported US strikes on an airport, a railway station in the port city of Bandar Abbas, and two bridges in southern Iran near the Strait of Hormuz.
