More than a week ago, a resident of the resort town who contacted 15min shared an unpleasant incident in the center of Šventoji. A woman in a wheelchair tried to access the restroom in the cultural center. The men’s and women’s restrooms were open, but the one designated for the disabled was locked. The disabled woman could not enter the other restrooms – the doors were too narrow.

A local resident who reacted to the situation persistently rattled the doors, trying to help the visitor. Eventually, the woman and her husband decided to go home.
The thought of why the restroom was locked still lingered. After several dozen minutes, the husband returned to check if it had become available, but the door remained locked.
