What Radev did after becoming prime minister
Since May, when he took office, R. Radev has stopped providing military aid to Ukraine, although he has not stopped selling weapons to Kyiv. As Bloomberg notes, Bulgaria is one of the largest producers of Soviet-type ammunition in the EU, and this ammunition was crucial for Ukraine at the start of the war.
R. Radev also opposed the EU sanctions against Russian Patriarch Kirill and oil magnate Vagit Alekperov, founder of the joint-stock company Lukoil.

On July 13 in Paris, the leaders of Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Norway, Spain, Sweden, and the United Kingdom agreed to create an integrated missile defense coalition together with Ukraine.
The document states that this defense system will complement existing missile defense systems, especially sovereign European systems that the participating countries have already acquired or will acquire in the future.
