The series creator Sam Levinson initially considered softening some scenes, but Sydney herself disagreed.
“When I first wrote the script, I thought: maybe we should film all this without nudity? Maybe some scenes can be shown differently?” he said in an interview with The New York Times.
According to him, Sydney replied: “Are you serious? I play an OnlyFans model. And you’re telling me we’re going to try to avoid that?”
Soon after the season finale aired, the actress defended the sexy scenes again – sharing several photos from the series on social media and writing: “This is called… acting.”
