Representative of the independent supplier “Elektrum,” Valdonė Kutytė, said that after the Seimas adopts the amendments, administrative costs will increase: “Many paper letters will need to be sent.”

As the Minister of Energy Žygimantas Vaičiūnas said while presenting the amendments in the Seimas, with the new public supply tariffs coming into effect on July 1, from September 1 such consumers could pay about 20 cents less per kilowatt-hour.
