Before the weekend, fuel prices changed: where is it cheapest?

In Lithuania, on Friday morning, compared to Thursday, the average prices of petrol and diesel decreased by 1.4% each, and the price of LPG by 0.9%. Information on fuel prices was provided to the Lithuanian Energy Agency (LEA) on June 5 by 72 fuel trading companies operating 752 petrol stations.

Cheapest diesel

On June 5, by 10 AM, fuel price data received from petrol stations showed that the lowest diesel price was at the “Visvilas” petrol station in Mažeikiai district municipality (Tirkšliai) – 1.69 Eur/l.

The highest diesel price – 2.039 Eur/l – was at 2 “Circle K” network petrol stations.

Diesel prices at petrol stations on Friday morning ranged from 1.69 Eur/l to 2.039 Eur/l, with an average diesel price of 1.863 Eur/l, or 1.4% less than on Thursday (June 4), when it was 1.889 Eur/l.

Cheapest petrol

The lowest petrol price on Friday morning was at the “Jozita” network petrol station in Kelmė – 1.62 Eur/l.

The highest petrol price – 1.919 Eur/l – was at the “Baltic Petroleum” network petrol station in Neringa.

Petrol prices at petrol stations on Friday morning ranged from 1.62 Eur/l to 1.919 Eur/l, with an average petrol price of 1.780 Eur/l, or 1.4% less than on Thursday (June 4), when it was 1.805 Eur/l.

Cheapest gas

The lowest LPG price on Friday morning was 0.72 Eur/l – at the “Bonsa” petrol station in Tauragė district municipality (Taurai) and the “Jozita” network petrol station in Tauragė district municipality (Papušynės k.).

The highest LPG price was at 4 “Circle K” network petrol stations and the “Narjantos” petrol station in Kupiškis district municipality (Aleksandrijos k.) – 0.969 Eur/l.

LPG prices at petrol stations on Friday morning ranged from 0.72 Eur/l to 0.969 Eur/l, with an average LPG price of 0.846 Eur/l, or 0.9% higher than on Thursday (June 4), when it was 0.854 Eur/l.

The wholesale price of petrol in Lithuania on June 4 was 1.57 Eur/l, and the wholesale price of diesel was 1.71 Eur/l (on June 3, the wholesale price of petrol was 1.56 Eur/l, and the wholesale price of diesel was 1.67 Eur/l).

The price of Brent crude oil on the market on June 4 was 95.03 USD/bbl (on June 3 – 97.81 USD/bbl).
