Ferran Torres (16 min.) had put Spain ahead, but Merchas Doski (27 min.) equalized the score in the first half.
Spain will start the World Cup in Group H, where they will play against Cape Verde, Saudi Arabia, and Uruguay, while Iraq, also participating in the tournament, will play in Group I and compete with France, Senegal, and Norway.

France led after the first half, as Rayan Cherki scored in the 45th minute, but the “elephants” snatched victory with goals from Guela Doue (53 min.) and Amado Diallo (84 min.).
