Google Maps data shows that traffic traveling from Vilnius towards Kaunas is at a standstill roughly from Garbuciškės to Karčiupis. As 15min informed, Kaunas police representative Kristina Miškauskaitė said that at about 12:57 a report was received regarding a technical traffic incident in the Vilnius-Kaunas direction, where four vehicles collided.

According to her, no one was injured, and the drivers have already filled out the traffic accident declaration and should soon move their vehicles.

“Four vehicles traveling from Vilnius towards Kaunas collided. A BMW, a Toyota, and two Volkswagens. We cannot specify the cause as the declaration was filled out. Police officers were only needed to assist with filling out the traffic accident declarations and to ensure traffic safety. We do not have any data indicating that traffic is being restricted,” said the police representative to 15min.
