Jutta Leerdam is one of the brightest stars in winter sports.
In speed skating, the 27-year-old athlete from the Netherlands has won seven world championship gold medals and six gold awards at the European Championships.

Earlier this year at the Winter Olympics in Milan, she also became the Olympic champion in the 1000 m event, and has won two more Olympic silver medals in the 500 m distance (2022 and 2026).
Her popularity further increased due to her friendship with social media star Jake Paul.
However, now J.Leerdam announced unexpected news to her fans on YouTube.
“I feel like I’m closing the door on something I love very much. I am infected with skating, it is a big part of me. A big part of my heart,” said the athlete.
