The Spanish football specialist joined the blue and whites in January 2026. The coach, who holds a UEFA PRO license, had gained work experience in Spain, the United States, and Mexico before coming to Lithuania.

The team led by M. Aramburu Erneta played 30 official matches this season: 26 in the TOPLYGA, two in the LFF Cup tournament, and two in the UEFA Conference League qualifiers.
In the LFF Cup, the blue and whites reached the round of 16 – in the 1/16 stage in Tauragė, they defeated “Tauras” 4:1, and in the next stage lost 0:2 to “TransINVEST”.

In the summer, M. Aramburu Erneta participated with the team in the UEFA Conference League qualifiers. In the first stage, “Hegelmann” met Estonia’s “Paide Linnameeskond” – the teams drew 1:1 in Raudondvaris, and in the return match in Estonia, the opponents won 3:0.
The last match of the Spaniard at the helm of “Hegelmann” was the TOPLYGA match on August 31 in Telšiai against “Džiugas”, which ended 2:2.
