In Lithuania on Tuesday morning, the average prices of gasoline, diesel, and LPG increased by 1.84%, 2.45%, and 1.07% respectively. Fuel prices at gas stations in our country usually rise on Tuesdays and are gradually reduced on other days until the weekend.
Wholesale fuel price increases and oil prices rising above 105 USD/bbl also affect retail prices.
In Lithuania, companies selling fuel provide LEA with information about the prices of fuels sold at their gas stations by 10 a.m. every working day. The submitted prices are published on the website ena.lt. Prices at gas stations are changed several times a day.
Data on fuel prices obtained from gas stations by 10 a.m. on September 15 show that the lowest diesel price was at two “Neste” network gas stations in Kalvarija municipality – 1.999 Eur/l.

The highest diesel price was at the “Plungės lagūna” network gas station in Rietavas – 2.300 Eur/l.
Diesel prices at gas stations on Tuesday morning ranged from 1.999 Eur/l to 2.300 Eur/l, with the average diesel price reaching 2.233 Eur/l, or 2.45% more than on Monday (September 14), when it was 2.180 Eur/l.
The lowest gasoline price on Tuesday morning was at the “Eniris” network gas station in Mažeikiai – 1.829 Eur/l.
The highest gasoline price was at four “Circle K” network gas stations, the “Emsi” network gas station in Vilnius district municipality, and the “Baltic Petroleum” network gas station in Nida – 2.019 Eur/l.
Gasoline prices at gas stations on Tuesday morning ranged from 1.829 Eur/l to 2.019 Eur/l, with the average gasoline price being 1.952 Eur/l, or 1.84% more than on Monday (September 14), when it was 1.917 Eur/l.
The lowest LPG price on Tuesday morning was at four “Madalva” network gas stations – 0.670 Eur/l.
The highest LPG price was at seven “Circle K” network gas stations and seven “Viada” network gas stations – 0.979 Eur/l.
LPG prices at gas stations on Tuesday morning ranged from 0.670 Eur/l to 0.979 Eur/l, with the average LPG price reaching 0.816 Eur/l, or 1.07% more than on Monday (September 14), when it was 0.808 Eur/l.
The wholesale gasoline price in Lithuania on September 14 was 1.791 Eur/l, or 2.69% more than on September 11, when it was 1.744 Eur/l. The wholesale diesel price on September 11 was 2.130 Eur/l, or 0.09% more than on September 10, when it was 2.128 Eur/l.
The Brent oil price on the market on September 14 was 105.68 USD/bbl (September 10 – 104.61 USD/bbl).
