On Saturday at about 18:40 in Neringa, Purvynės St., a 1978-born motorcycle driver was found to have 0.26‰, on the same day at about 21:34 in Neringa, Alksnynės St., a 1986-born female driver of a “Nissan” – 0.60‰, at about 20:55 in Neringa, on the Smiltynė–Nida regional road, a 1989-born female driver of a “VW Polo” – 0.52‰ blood alcohol content.

Another 9 drivers checked by officers were driving without the right to do so, 66
– illegally used mobile communication devices, 35 drivers and 3
passengers did not wear seat belts, violating the traffic rules for carrying 5
children. Another 15 drivers did not yield to pedestrians, and 13 persons riding electric
micro-mobility devices will face responsibility for not wearing safety helmets.
Using a mobile speed meter, 211 cases of speeding were recorded during the week, and another 23 cases were recorded by other
means.
