The “Candle Family” brand is already quite well known to Lithuanians. Candles made in Šukaičiai, Veiviržėnai eldership, can be seen on the shelves of the largest retail chain in Lithuania, in specialized stores, and scented car products – also at gas stations.

Currently, the “Candle Family” assortment includes about 400 different products. And although the name suggests that the business is related to candles, the product catalog is increasingly featuring other products: fragrant household chemicals, cosmetics, perfumes.

“Basically – it’s everything that smells,” says Martynas Nicius, the founder of “Candle Family.”

From kebabs – to candles

Both Martynas and Niciai come from Akmenė district, Venta. Here the young couple built their life, having developed a network of 7 kebab shops. Martynas, who graduated in history studies at Vilnius University, was actively involved in local politics and was elected to the Akmenė council.
