Vitalis Zigmantas, who works on the ride-hailing service platform, admitted to journalists that he had expected to see more protesters, but he considered that the pouring rain might have hindered some, while others might simply be afraid to speak.
“I expected more. Maybe the weather also interfered. So few dared to just speak, people have lost hope and don’t waste time on it,” said V. Zigmantas.

He stated that the protest was held because the situation is bad: the rates are unsatisfactory, and the taxes paid by drivers are high.
“No one talks to us. There are only demands, regulations, and huge taxes. It’s simply impossible to live,” he complained.
