The incident occurred on September 6 at about 17:40 on Maironio Street. Four passengers were preparing to travel by car “Toyota Prius”.

Three passengers had already boarded, and a 65-year-old woman with a disability and mobility difficulties was the last to get into the car.
According to relatives and witnesses, the woman had not finished getting in when the car started moving. She fell onto the asphalt and was injured. The car stopped when the passengers inside began shouting at the driver.
The same evening, the woman was taken to the trauma department. According to data provided by relatives, she was diagnosed with bruises on the right knee and the right arm and elbow area. No fractures were found.

The family reported the incident to the police. The incident was also registered by “Bolt”. The company informed the relatives that the case was forwarded to the responsible department, and information necessary for the investigation will be provided to the police upon request.
The family is currently seeking to find independent witnesses and video recordings of the incident.
People who were in Kaunas, Maironio Street near numbers 13–22, from about 17:35 to 17:50 on September 6, and who may have seen the “Toyota Prius” KMB 966 or the incident itself, are asked to come forward.
Drivers whose dashcams were recording this part of the street at that time, as well as owners or residents of nearby buildings whose surveillance cameras may have captured the incident, are also being sought.
