„ATTENTION! Road 2222 Vėžaičiai – Mikoliškiai – Kartena near Abakų km. the Kūlupis stream crossing is washed out, the road is impassable. Choose another route“, warns the Kartenos eldership in a post on Facebook.
The current situation is shown by users in the Facebook group „Weather Enthusiasts“ who shared footage of the event.
The posted video shows that part of the road is gone – the stream has taken it, revealing an impassable ravine.

Orai.lt wrote that the beginning of the new week after a rainy and windy weekend will be calmer – the night from Sunday to Monday will be without significant rain, with fog in some places.
The wind will gradually shift to the southwest and weaken to 5–10 m/s, with no gusts forecasted. The lowest air temperature in the early morning will be 7–12, and 13–15 degrees Celsius by the seaside.
On Monday, there will be brief rain in some places, the wind will remain unchanged after the night, and the thermometer will rise to 18–23 degrees Celsius at most.
