The first goal came as early as the 7th minute, scored by Veljko Simić, and in the 14th minute Joy Mickels doubled the score.
The forward scored another goal in the 30th minute, so before the break “Sabah” led 3:0. After the break, the Baku club continued to keep up the pace.
In the 50th minute, Christian Nwachukwu was on target, and in the 56th minute J. Mickels scored his third goal of the match.
In the local championship, “Sabah” has won all three matches out of as many possible and shares 1st–2nd places with the same “Zira”. However, the latter has played more matches.
Now V. Dambrauskas faces the biggest challenge of his career – his debut in the UEFA Champions League. On September 10th at Old Trafford stadium, “Sabah” will face “Manchester United”.
