Grew up with a constant feeling of guilt
“I was born into a Jehovah’s Witnesses family. My mother was also raised among Jehovah’s Witnesses, and my father became a member of the community a couple of years before I was born,” Ramūnas said.

Poland is a Catholic country, yet there is no shortage of Jehovah’s Witnesses there. According to Ramūnas, there are currently no fewer than 100-120 thousand of them: “In Lithuania, I think there is 1 Jehovah’s Witness per 900 people, and in Poland – 1 Witness per 300 people. There are definitely many of them.”
Talking about his childhood, Ramūnas says he was very religious.
“I believed in everything I was taught. You could say I lived in the myth that was created and told to us. For example, I thought that people once lived in Paradise, and the current situation, that people die, is temporary, because Jesus will soon return and we will live in Paradise. However, to get there, you need to live properly,” the man said.
