A Polish government official confirmed that Warsaw is considering such an option.
“The nearest available date for the World Cup is around 2040 (…), so we need to plan this perspective now,” said M. Bidnas, confirming that his country is interested in exploring the possibility of submitting a joint bid with Poland.
In 2030, the tournament will be held in Spain, Portugal, and Morocco, and in 2034 the host of the championship will be Saudi Arabia.
M. Bidnas added that Ukraine already has experience organizing a major tournament together with Poland, recalling the 2012 European Men’s Football Championship.

“It would be very logical to repeat this successful experience,” he said, noting that such a bid could also “attract investors’ attention.”
However, any proposal to host the championship would depend on the security situation in Ukraine.
