„I went to the salon, they inserted a new SIM card. They said that the mobile signature should update and start working within a couple of hours – at the latest within a day. But the mobile signature still does not work,“ the woman, who needs this service especially for work, told 15min on Wednesday.
The Vilnius resident said she called „Telia“ three times on Tuesday, but the consultants could not help – they claimed the malfunction was being fixed.
„On Tuesday, the consultants told me there was a mass malfunction – the mobile signature was disrupted for those who changed SIM cards on August 31,“ Gintarė added.
Finally, when she called „Telia“ on Wednesday, she was told she needed to go to the salon again, where the SIM card would be replaced once more.

„Telia“ communications manager Audrius Stasiulaitis commented to 15min that there was no mass failure of the mobile signature service „Mobile-ID“.

„Due to a technical malfunction in one of the contract approval systems on August 31 and September 1, the service failed to activate for 43 clients. One of them was your reader. Although all actions in the salon seemed to be successfully completed, her „Mobile-ID“ remained inactive. We have already fixed the technical server problem. Currently, we are sending messages to all 43 clients and inviting them to visit the salon again to change their cards,“ A. Stasiulaitis informed.
„We apologize that due to our technical malfunction, these people will have to spend time and return to our salons once again,“ he added.
In total, about 160 thousand „Telia“ clients use „Mobile-ID“.
