From August 24 to 30, the average price in the Lithuanian price zone of the Nord Pool exchange fell by 22% to 96 euros per megawatt hour (MWh). In Latvia, the price was the same, in Estonia – 78 euros, Litgrid reported on Monday.

Deividas Šikšnys, head of the Market Development Department at Litgrid, says that electricity became cheaper despite lower wind power production.
