On September 1st, the program will bring together historic industrial heritage with modern educational and experiential activities. At 11 AM and 3 PM, visitors are invited to the tour “A Day at the Power Plant,” where they can learn about the history of the first Vilnius city power plant, the processes that took place there, and the preserved equipment. The narration will be complemented by interactive tools and active games.
Meanwhile, space enthusiasts will enjoy the “Rocket” education session – during which participants will learn more about space, make a water rocket, and have the opportunity to test its launch.

From 12 to 2 PM, the interactive game “Lost Energy” will take place in the Capacitors Hall, inviting participants to engage in a mysterious search for history. In a dark space, searching for its fragments, players will piece together a common story from separate details. Prior registration is required for this activity.
The program will conclude with a musical experience – at 3 PM, the choir “Dainuojam” voice workshops will be held on the museum’s rooftop terrace. Participants will be invited to explore their voice, test its capabilities, and together discover the joy of shared sound. The workshops are designed for everyone who wants to sing, regardless of previous musical experience.
All special activities of the September 1st program are free, but a standard museum visitor ticket will be required to participate. The festive program will run from 11 AM to 4 PM, and the Energy and Technology Museum will welcome visitors at its usual hours – from 10 AM to 6:30 PM.
