At gas stations – changes: how did fuel prices change on Friday?

Information about fuel prices was provided to the Lithuanian Energy Agency (LEA) on August 28 by 71 fuel trading companies managing 742 gas stations.

Companies selling fuel in Lithuania provide LEA with information about the prices of fuels sold at their gas stations every working day by 10 a.m. The submitted prices are published on the website ena.lt. Prices at gas stations change several times a day.

Data on fuel prices received from gas stations by 10 a.m. on August 28 show that the lowest diesel price was at the “Alauša” network gas station in Utena – 1.929 Eur/l.

The highest diesel price was at twenty-seven “Viada” network gas stations, thirteen “Circle K” network gas stations, and the “Degta” network gas station in Elektrėnai district municipality – 2.199 Eur/l.

Diesel prices at gas stations on Friday morning ranged from 1.929 Eur/l to 2.199 Eur/l, with the average diesel price reaching 2.053 Eur/l, or 0.52% less than on Thursday (August 27), when it was 2.064 Eur/l.

The lowest gasoline price on Friday morning was at the “Alauša” network gas station in Utena – 1.659 Eur/l.

The highest gasoline price was at thirteen “Viada” network gas stations and the “Degta” network gas station in Elektrėnai district municipality – 1.929 Eur/l.

Gasoline prices at gas stations on Friday morning ranged from 1.659 Eur/l to 1.929 Eur/l, with the average gasoline price being 1.779 Eur/l, or 0.48% less than on Thursday (August 27), when it was 1.788 Eur/l.

The lowest LPG price on Friday morning was at the “Skulas” network gas station in Kaunas and the “Velseka” network gas station in Kupiškis – 0.669 Eur/l.

The highest LPG price was at the UAB “Tumasa” gas station in Mažeikiai district municipality (Židikiai) – 0.940 Eur/l.

LPG prices at gas stations on Friday morning ranged from 0.669 Eur/l to 0.940 Eur/l, with the average LPG price reaching 0.763 Eur/l, or 0.38% less than on Thursday (August 27), when it was 0.766 Eur/l.

The wholesale gasoline price in Lithuania on August 27 was 1.66 Eur/l, and the wholesale diesel price was 1.90 Eur/l (on August 26, the wholesale gasoline price was 1.66 Eur/l, and the wholesale diesel price was 1.91 Eur/l).

The Brent crude oil price on the market on August 27 was 89.7 USD/bbl (August 26 – 87.86 USD/bbl).
