The new “Suzuki e Sky” has become the second electric model in the Japanese manufacturer’s range after the “eVitara” crossover. It is planned to start selling it in Japan in autumn, and exports to other markets should begin in 2027. The manufacturer published detailed information about the electric car on its website.

The “Suzuki e Sky” electric car belongs to the kei car segment – these are small and inexpensive city cars, extremely popular in Japan. The new model is a production version of the concept car presented last year.
“Suzuki e Sky” dimensions:
length – 3395 mm;
width – 1475 mm;
height – 1625 mm;
wheelbase – 2460 mm;
weight – 1030 kg.
The production car looks more restrained than its prototype. It features sleek body lines, a short bonnet, a high window line, and large front and rear lights.
The cabin accommodates four people. The electric car is equipped with a digital instrument panel and a 10.1-inch multimedia touchscreen. However, the manufacturer retained physical climate control buttons and a gear shift lever.
Price will be lower than “Vitara”
The exact price of the “Suzuki e Sky” has not yet been announced, but it is known that the car will be cheaper than the petrol “Vitara” and should cost less than 20 thousand euros.

The basic equipment will include climate control with a heat pump, heated seats and steering wheel. More expensive versions will have a 360-degree camera system, allowing a view of the car’s surroundings from all sides.
Up to 310 km on a single charge
“Suzuki e Sky” has a 64 HP electric motor and a 26 kWh battery. The manufacturer declares a range of up to 310 km on a single charge.
Using 50 kW fast charging, the battery can be topped up to 80% in approximately 25 minutes.
Another interesting feature is the “powerbank” mode, which allows the electric car’s battery energy to be used to power various electrical devices.
The car’s turning diameter is only 8.8 meters, making this model particularly convenient for driving on narrow city streets and parking.
