The Gargždai team has won three consecutive head-to-head matches.
The blue and whites had a week off from official matches, although some of the main team players represented the B team during that time. “Hegelmann” will face Sunday’s match after losing four of the last five games – the worst streak this season. The Kauno district club has lost only twice at Raudondvaris stadium, but their last victory was back in early May. Due to suspension, the hosts will be without Domas Slendzoka, who collected four yellow cards.
After a great victory against Vilnius “Žalgiris”, “Banga” became the team with 21 points earned playing away – the best result along with Vilnius district “TransINVEST”. If “Banga” wins in Raudondvaris, they will at least briefly catch up with the league leader, although Gargždai have never left this stadium with a winning mood.

After a frustrating loss in Šiauliai, their chances to catch at least one of the top six teams have greatly diminished; moreover, Toni Korkeakunnon’s players are still far from securing 7th–8th places. Vilnius “Žalgiris” – Telšiai “Džiugas”

This year, the most representatives of this country are registered in TOPLYGA clubs – out of thirteen players, nine appeared on the field. “Žalgiris” will start the fourth round with 34 points in 6th place; however, a win would at least allow them to overtake the representatives of the Samogitian capital. Hard to believe, but the capital club playing at home shows the second worst result among all nine teams. Due to suspension, midfielder Marko Capanas will not play.
“Džiugas” also has one suspended player – Denys Bunčiukovas, who scored 4 goals and made 3 assists. Among the top six teams, Džiugas and “TransINVEST” have played more matches than the other opponents. Andrius Lipskis’ squad had not won away for a long time and after the international break defeated only FA “Šiauliai” and Gargždai “Banga”. Playing at FK “Žalgiris” home stadium has not been successful for “Džiugas” so far – since 2021, they have drawn only once and lost the other matches.

“TransINVEST” players showed quite different performances at home and away during the first three rounds. The team coached by Marius Stankevičius collected 6 points more in opponents’ stadiums than playing in front of their fans. Monday is a good opportunity to improve their position in the tournament table, as four consecutive matches with top six representatives will follow. The defense of “TransINVEST” has been reinforced – Oscar Boateng, who has not played for five months, returned to the lineup, although midfielder Iker Bilbao missed the last match.
FA “Šiauliai” ended their winless streak since May and reduced the deficit to the nearest opponent to 6 points. To improve the situation and avoid relegation playoffs, the Suns city representatives have eight matches left. After more than a month break, Šiauliai will play away again – usually leaving opponents’ stadiums with little positivity. FA “Šiauliai” is the only team that has not yet won away this year and has many players recovering from injuries, but positivity was brought by Kristupas Keršys, who returned to the lineup and played a full match after a long break.
