In Lithuania on Thursday morning, compared to Wednesday, the average prices of gasoline and diesel decreased by 0.89% and 0.53% respectively, while the average price of LPG increased by 0.52%.

Fuel prices at gas stations in our country are usually consistently reduced in the second half of the week until the weekend. Retail prices are also influenced by increased wholesale fuel prices and more expensive oil.
Information about fuel prices was provided to the Lithuanian Energy Agency (LEA) on August 20 by 73 fuel trading companies operating 753 gas stations.
Data on fuel prices obtained from gas stations by 10 a.m. on August 20 show that the lowest diesel price was at two “Baltic Petroleum” network gas stations in Vilnius – 1.949 Eur/l.
The highest diesel price was at twenty-nine “Viada” network gas stations, ten “Circle K” network gas stations, the “Kenaoil” gas station in Vilnius district municipality in Kena, the “Šventosios investicijos” gas station in Palanga (Šventoji), and the “Tomega” gas station in Šalčininkai district municipality (Dumblių village) – 2.159 Eur/l.
Diesel prices at gas stations on Thursday morning ranged from 1.949 Eur/l to 2.159 Eur/l, with the average diesel price being 2.050 Eur/l, or 0.53% less than on Wednesday (August 19), when it was 2.061 Eur/l.
The lowest gasoline price on Thursday morning was at the “Baltic Petroleum” network gas station in Mažeikiai – 1.649 Eur/l.
The highest gasoline price was at thirty “Viada” network gas stations, nine “Circle K” network gas stations, the “Degta” network gas station in Elektrėnai municipality in Vievis, and the “Kenaoil” gas station in Vilnius district municipality (Kena) – 1.899 Eur/l.

Gasoline prices at gas stations on Thursday morning ranged from 1.649 Eur/l to 1.899 Eur/l, with the average gasoline price being 1.780 Eur/l, or 0.89% less than on Wednesday (August 19), when it was 1.796 Eur/l.
The lowest LPG price on Thursday morning was at the “Saurida” network gas station in Klaipėda – 0.670 Eur/l.
The highest LPG price was at the UAB “Tumasa“ gas station in Mažeikiai district municipality (Židikiai) – 0.940 Eur/l.
LPG prices at gas stations on Thursday morning ranged from 0.670 Eur/l to 0.940 Eur/l, with the average LPG price being 0.766 Eur/l, or 0.52% more than on Wednesday (August 19), when it was 0.762 Eur/l.
The wholesale gasoline price in Lithuania on August 19 was 1.64 Eur/l, the wholesale diesel price – 1.97 Eur/l (on August 18, the wholesale gasoline price was 1.62 Eur/l, the wholesale diesel price – 1.95 Eur/l).
The Brent oil price on the market on August 19 was 91.62 USD/bbl (on August 18 – 91.02 USD/bbl).
