The version of the resonance case investigation that the paramedic’s death was caused by a bullet, not blows, is becoming increasingly credible. According to the mentioned portal, 31-year-old M. Sadauskas, lured into a trap and kidnapped, died from a gunshot to the head.

After the murder, it was reported that the victim had been struck on the head, legs, arms, and other parts of the body, reminds lrytas.lt.
To determine the exact cause of death, a medical examination was ordered. According to unnamed sources from the mentioned portal, life was likely taken by a single shot fired from an illegal weapon.
Traces of a trampoline were found during the search, and a firearm was also discovered on the homestead.
Emergency medical worker Mantas Sadauskas disappeared on the morning of April 20, having gone to Paliukai village in Panevėžys district to install a ordered trampoline (the man was also engaged in this activity).
The next day, the buried body of the man was found in one of the village’s homesteads. Traces of the trampoline were found together, and a firearm was also discovered on the homestead. Officers detained and the court remanded Justina Gaigalaitė, Vilius Solkanas, and the latter’s father Ilja.
According to preliminary law enforcement data, the crime may have been committed due to personal disagreements. During the paramedic’s murder, he and J. Sadauskienė were undergoing divorce proceedings, which were terminated due to the death of one of the spouses.

As BNS wrote, at the end of April, the Panevėžys District Court allowed Justina Sadauskienė (Gaigalaitė) to be detained for two months, and later the strictest preventive measure was extended.
Vilius Solkanas, also detained, is suspected of murder and illegal deprivation of liberty.
Meanwhile, his father Ilja Solkanas, suspected of illegal possession of a firearm, was ordered by the court to pay a 5,000 euro bail.
J. Gaigalaitė’s lawyer Vaidotas Sviderskis confirmed that the detained woman’s position remains unchanged: his client denies guilt.
