On Tuesday night, a southern cyclone will move from the south towards the country. Its center will pass slightly east of Lithuania, but in the southeastern part, low clouds will increase, and rain will fall in many places by morning. Rain will also be expected in the northwest, but it will be short-lived. The wind will mostly remain weak, changing direction. The temperature will drop to 8–13, and 14–17 degrees Celsius on the coast.
On Tuesday during the day, the sky will be mostly cloudy in the east of the country, with persistent rain. In the far eastern edge, heavy rain may also occur. Clouds will also be present in the western part, but mostly short showers will prevail there, sometimes accompanied by thunder. The wind will shift to northwest and north, strengthening to moderate. The highest temperature will range from 16–17 degrees in the east to 19–21 degrees Celsius in the west of the country.
On Wednesday night, the cyclone will move northeast, with more clearings. Rain will fall briefly only in some places, mostly from retreating clouds in the eastern edge and from rain areas moving in from the sea in the western regions. The wind will change direction, turning from the west and southwest, remaining moderate. The temperature will drop to 8–13, and 14–16 degrees Celsius on the coast.
On Wednesday during the day, cumulus clouds will increase again. Showers will fall briefly in many places until evening. The wind will be somewhat stronger, mostly blowing from the southwest and south. The day will be slightly warmer again – the temperature will rise to 19–23 degrees Celsius.
On Thursday, new denser clouds will reach the country. It will rain throughout the country at night, and short showers will also occur in many regions during the day. A rather strong westerly wind will blow. Due to rain and clouds, the night will be warmer and the temperature will not fall below 11–16 degrees Celsius. The day will also not be cold – the air will warm up to 19–24 degrees.
Friday will not be dry in the country either. It will rain briefly at night, mostly in the western part of the country. Thunder may also be heard. Short showers are expected in many regions during the day. At night, the air will cool to 10–15, and 16–17 degrees Celsius on the coast, and during the day warmer air will rush in and the temperature will quickly rise to 21–26 degrees Celsius.
According to current data, cyclones will not move far from Lithuania over the weekend, so it will rain briefly in most parts of the country, but the temperature will rise above 20 degrees almost everywhere.
