Ernesta Vareikytė, head of “Maxima’s” media relations, informs that the one X “Maxima” store located at A. Juozapavičiaus g. 68-1 in Kaunas will operate until this Sunday and will close permanently on Monday, August 17. The decision to close the store permanently was made due to the necessary investment, which is incompatible with the customer flow.

“After closing the smallest store in our network located right by the Nemunas or M. K. Čiurlionis bridge, customers will be able to shop conveniently every day at the three X ‘Maxima’ located in the ‘Akropolis’ shopping and entertainment center,” says E. Vareikytė.

The “Maxima” representative reminds that exactly a year ago, the three X store at Karaliaus Mindaugo pr. 49 was fundamentally renovated – its reconstruction lasted four months.

“Moreover, this larger ‘Maxima’ operates daily longer than the store on A. Juozapavičiaus street usually does. Customers can shop at the network store in ‘Akropolis’ until 10 PM,” says E. Vareikytė.
