“Five years ago, at the ‘Kart3’ autodrome in Kuršėnai, we held the first 24-hour electric car race in the history of Lithuanian motorsport. The project was successful, and every year we receive more and more attention. The year before last, the race moved to Panevėžys, and we were all satisfied.”

More spectators visited the track, and even at night residents from nearby residential areas came to see, showing interest in electric cars and praising the innovative race because there is no engine noise or tire screeching during the event. I am glad that we continue our partnership with ‘Eldrive,’ a rapidly growing electric vehicle charging infrastructure company that will install the entire temporary charging infrastructure in the race area,” said Darius Grinberg, organizer of the “24H EV race.”
Everyone can participate
Anyone with a category B driver’s license can participate in the “24H EV Race” electric car race. During the race, spectators will be able to see exhibitions of electric cars and electric motorcycles and watch motorcycle performances. In the covered race guest zone, everyone can follow the results, chat with racers, and try racing simulators. Organizers invite car enthusiast clubs
The organizers, understanding that the participation fee is not affordable for everyone, announce a contest for electric vehicle enthusiasts who want to participate.

“We invite car clubs, communities, or just groups of friends to participate in this year’s 24H electric car race. No previous racing experience is required; it is enough to have a valid category B driver’s license and an electric car. Of course, we will instruct participants on how to drive safely on the race track. Many people without racing experience also participated in previous races, and all of them successfully reached the finish line or even stood on the winners’ podium,” says race organizer Darius Grinberg.
What do you need to do for your team to participate in the race for free? Familiarize yourself with the race rules and other documents at www.24evrace.lt, have an electric car, assemble a team of 2-10 drivers, and by August 24, send a letter to the organizers at darius@24evrace.lt explaining why you want to participate in the race. The team that sends the most original letter will be invited to participate in the race for free. The offer is valid only for car enthusiast clubs, communities, and individuals who have not previously participated in the race.
Up to 18 teams will compete on the “24H EV Race” track, with 2 to 10 drivers per team, taking turns driving for all 24 hours. Only true electric cars will be allowed to participate in the race, divided into 4 classes based on the distances they can cover on a single charge.
